Funding Boost from Boots UK

Fantastic news for Think Children - our funding application to Boots UK has been successful and we've been awarded £9,952! All the money from the award will directly fund our effective early help for local children who may be struggling to cope with emotional issues.

Increased confidence / self-esteem
Belief that they can take responsibility for their own actions even when living in challenging circumstances
Emotional resilience / understanding that they can cope with adversity
Ability to reflect on situations rather than reacting inappropriately
Helping children to engage in education meaning better training / employment prospects as young people.
Develop positive relationships
Bridge the gap between home and school life

Think Children aims to help children safely explore their issues, develop coping skills and move forward with their lives in a positive way.

We support the children before their problems escalate and prevent them from reaching their full potential.

During 2015/2016 we delivered over 4,500 sessions, supporting 378 children in 60 primary schools across Nottinghamshire.

We are continually seeking funds to sustain and expand our service.
